Building a safe, respectful, and inclusive community together
Last updated: 31 August 2026 · Version 2026.08.31
Swingable is an adults-only platform designed for connecting like-minded individuals through events, social features, and genuine connections. These Community Guidelines help us create a positive, safe environment for everyone. By using our platform, you agree to follow these standards.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity. We encourage you to report any content or behavior that violates these guidelines.
Treat all members with dignity and kindness
Protect yourself and others from harm
Be genuine and honest in all interactions
Treat all community members with respect and dignity:
Remember: Behind every profile is a real person with feelings, experiences, and boundaries.
These standards also apply to anything you submit through our public marketing surfaces — including the "How Swingable Are You?" quiz, the Contact form and the Partners form. Be honest in your answers and respectful in any message you send us.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
Sharing an intimate image or video of an identifiable adult without their consent is a criminal offence in the UK and one of the most serious breaches of these guidelines. It results in immediate removal and, in almost all cases, a permanent ban.
Media shown on Swingable carries invisible provenance markings tied to the viewing account. If private media is leaked, we use those markings to identify the source and to support the affected member's report to the police. If intimate content of you has been shared without your consent, report it in-app and email Admin@swingable.co.uk — we prioritise these reports. You can also get free help from the Revenge Porn Helpline.
A Shared Profile is one identity used by two or more adults, each with their own login. Everyone in a Shared Profile is equally responsible for everything posted through it.
The following behaviors are not tolerated on our platform:
Respecting privacy is fundamental to our community:
Every photo and video used on Swingable is uploaded to your private Vault first. When you upload you must classify each item accurately as Just me, Me and other people, Other people only, or No people. Where you tag another registered Swingable member who appears in the item, that person must approve it before it can proceed to moderation — a decline from any tagged member permanently deletes the item for everyone, including the uploader.
You are responsible for holding valid consent from every identifiable person in what you upload, including anyone who is not a registered Swingable member or who has not been tagged — tagged-member approval is an additional safeguard for identifiable members, not a substitute for having genuine consent from everyone shown. Our moderators may reject content where consent is not adequately demonstrated, even if no tag was declined.
Live streaming on Swingable is currently operated only by our admin team for official broadcasts; ordinary members cannot start their own live stream.
Private messages are not routinely browsed by staff. We review a conversation only when it has been reported to us, or as otherwise required by law.
Automated risk signals help prioritise what our moderation team looks at, but they do not themselves impose permanent enforcement. Decisions to permanently restrict, suspend, ban, or shadow-restrict an account are made by a human moderator.
Live Chat is a realtime room, separate from your private direct messages. You normally only see messages sent after you join, and there is no chat history or search of earlier room messages. Recent text is held briefly for safety and abuse reporting — currently around 15 minutes — and expires automatically unless it is preserved because of a report. Treat the room as public.
Camera and microphone are optional and off by default. We don’t record them or turn them into saved video. Camera and microphone travel directly between members’ devices (peer‑to‑peer) and are not routed through, stored by or processed by any third‑party media provider. To set up that direct connection, your device and the devices you connect with exchange network address information, which can reveal an approximate location — only with members you are actually connected to on camera or microphone. We may switch camera or microphone off, or limit how many cameras you can watch at once, for safety, capacity or technical reasons.
Moderation in the room can include message cooldowns and rate limiting, removal from the room, temporary or permanent chat bans, disabling camera or microphone, and closing the room. A cooldown is not a site ban. Our staff cannot browse chat transcripts; when you report something, a bounded amount of context is preserved as evidence and is only opened for a moderation, safety or legal case.
We value genuine connections built on honesty:
Photo verified and ID verified members have passed our verification process. Look for verification badges when connecting with others.
When attending or organizing events:
When participating in groups or responding to meets:
Club profiles represent real venues and organizations:
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We take every report seriously and will take appropriate action based on our investigation. False or malicious reports may result in action against the reporter.
Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may take the following actions:
Banned users who create new accounts will have those accounts terminated. Severe violations (child safety, threats of violence) result in immediate permanent bans with no warning.
Protect yourself when meeting other members:
Tips for a positive experience:
These guidelines are designed to protect all community members and ensure a positive experience. We reserve the right to enforce these guidelines at our discretion and may update them as needed. Your cooperation in maintaining community standards is essential and appreciated.
Swingable is a platform—we facilitate connections but are not responsible for the actions of individual users. Always prioritize your personal safety.
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, you can report it directly:
We may report illegal activity — including non-consensual intimate imagery and child sexual abuse material — to the relevant authorities, in line with UK law and any applicable laws in the country where the activity took place or where the user is based (including EU member states, the United States, Canada, and other jurisdictions we serve).
If your content has been removed, restricted, or your account has been suspended, you have the right to appeal. Appeals must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the enforcement decision by emailing Admin@swingable.co.uk with your username, the affected content or action, and the grounds for appeal. Appeals are reviewed by a moderator who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to acknowledge appeals within three (3) business days and to reach a substantive decision within fourteen (14) days. This appeals route is provided in line with our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023.
We publish periodic transparency information covering the volume of reports received, categories of content actioned, average handling times, and outcomes of appeals. Where required, we cooperate with Ofcom, the ICO and equivalent overseas regulators, and will make information available on request.
If you have questions about these guidelines or need clarification on what is acceptable, please contact us through our feedback page. We're here to help create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Website development and all marketing activity for Swingable are handled by Fubar Marketing (www.fubar.marketing) as a service provider. Moderation, enforcement of these guidelines, and all decisions about member accounts remain the sole responsibility of the Swingable Trust and Safety team.
