Privacy and consent controls on Swingable
Your profile is not in search results
Member profiles sit behind sign-in and are excluded from search engine indexing. The public marketing pages you're reading now are indexed; the community itself is not.
A private vault for photos
Not every photo should be visible to everyone. Private vault media stays hidden until you choose to release it, so you decide who sees what and when — per person, not as one blanket setting.
Watermarking on member media
Media shown inside the community carries a subtle viewer watermark. It doesn't make screenshots impossible — nothing does — but it makes a leaked image traceable, which is a meaningful deterrent.
Block, mute and report on everything
You can block someone outright, quietly mute them so they simply stop appearing for you, or report them to moderators. Reports go to a human review queue.
Your data, on request
Swingable operates under UK GDPR. You can request an export of your data or ask for your account and data to be deleted, and identity documents used for verification checks are deleted once the check is complete.
Being straight with you
What this does not do.
- •We are not end-to-end encrypted. Moderators can access reported content in order to act on reports — that is how safeguarding works.
- •Anyone who can see an image can photograph their own screen. Watermarking deters and traces; it cannot prevent.
- •Only share what you would be comfortable existing outside the platform. That is true everywhere, and it is true here.
