Joining is easy — verification is the gate
You can sign up directly, join with a friend's referral code, or come through the compatibility quiz. However you arrive, an account alone doesn't put you straight into the community.
That single step changes the tone of the place. Full access only comes after photo verification, so every profile you interact with belongs to a real, checked person.
Photo verification before full access
Full access requires photo verification. You submit a verification photo, a human reviewer checks it against your profile pictures, and only then does your profile carry a verified badge and gain full access to messaging, media and events.
Verification photos are reviewed by trained moderators, not an automated score. Where identity documents are needed for an age or safeguarding check, they are deleted once the check is complete rather than retained.
Couples verify as two people
A shared couple profile on Swingable is made of two individual logins. Each partner verifies separately, so a verified couple badge means both people have been checked — not that one person uploaded a photo of two.
Moderation is ongoing, not one-off
Every profile, post and conversation carries report, block and mute controls. Reports land in a human review queue rather than an inbox nobody reads, and moderators can remove content, restrict accounts or remove members entirely.
Being straight with you
What this does not do.
- •Verification confirms that the person in the photos is the person using the account. It is not a background check, a criminal-records check or a health check.
- •Verified members can still behave badly. If someone does, report them — that is what the review queue is for.
- •Meeting anyone from any platform in person carries risk. Meet publicly first, tell someone where you are going, and leave if it feels wrong.
